The Anker Soundcore Range

Anker Soundcore Speakers

The Anker Soundcore range of wireless speakers is designed for three major use case scenarios—home use, party, and outdoors.

The Soundcore 2 and 3 come with a well-rounded set of modern features such as the BassUp technology and Bluetooth 5.0 for ultra-secure and stable connections. Both speakers come with an IPX7 waterproof coating, stereo sound, and 24-hour playtime for the perfect listening experience. The Soundcore Mini 3 is ideal for those looking for a portable audio solution, featuring 360-degree audio and the Soundcore PartyCast technology.

The Motion+, Motion Boom, and Motion Boom Plus speakers are other portable alternatives providing high-res audio, exceptional clarity and depth of sound, ultra-wide frequency range, customizable EQ, and enhanced sound dispersion.

The Motion Boom and Motion Boom Plus are the optimal outdoor solutions with extra loud and powerful distortion-free stereo sound and maximum portability thanks to the sturdy built-in handle. The Motion Boom Plus also takes it a step further with a detachable strap for added portability. The Motion line of speakers comes with extended play times ranging from 12-24 hours.

The Flare series of speakers, consisting of the Flare, Flare Mini, and Flare 2, feature a simple yet unique design complete with 360-degree sound, ambient LED lights, and enhanced bass for a complete audio/visual experience. To top it off, these speakers are universally compatible and come with IP67 dust and waterproofing and a 12-hour playtime, making them the ultimate party speakers.

The Soundcore Trance is another great option in the party speakers category, with beat-driven LED lights, an intense bass, an 18-hour playtime, and the option to choose between Indoor and Outdoor modes through the Soundcore app. The Trance Go, on the other hand, is a simpler outdoor alternative without the LED lights but with a significantly longer 24-hour playtime.

Anker Soundcore Headphones

Soundcore offers both wireless over-ear headphones and true-wireless earbuds with several options in each category so that you can easily find a pair to suit your comfort and requirements.

The Life series of over-ear headphones come at three different price points.

The Life Q20 and Q20+ are budget options with high-res audio, hybrid active noise cancellation, a remarkable 40-hour playtime, and comfortable memory foam headband and ear cups. The Life Q30 is the mid-range option while the Life Q35 is a premium pair of headphones featuring custom silk-diaphragm drivers, innovative LDAC technology, multi-mode noise cancellation, and support for AI-enhanced calling.

The Soundcore true-wireless earbuds include the Life, Liberty, Spirit, and the all-new Sport options. Each of these options has a few different variations but they all come with advanced features such as AI-enhanced calling and hybrid active noise cancellation along with long playtimes and a compact, comfortable fit.

How to Pair Anker Soundcore Speakers and Headphones

Pairing Anker Soundcore Speakers

The Anker Soundcore wireless speakers use Bluetooth 5 to provide a seamless audio experience. The method of pairing, therefore, is pretty standard across most Soundcore speakers.

The first step is to turn on the pairing mode on your speakers.

For the Anker Soundcore 2 and 3, turn on the device by tapping the power button once. Press the Bluetooth button once; the Bluetooth LED will start flashing blue. This indicates that the speaker has entered pairing mode.

In case of the Anker Soundcore Motion+, Motion Boom, and Motion Boom Plus speakers, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds till it turns a steady white. Next, tap the Bluetooth button and, once it starts slowly flashing blue, your speaker has entered Bluetooth pairing mode.

From here, the rest of the pairing process depends on the device you choose to pair your Anker Soundcore speaker with.

To pair the speaker with an Android phone or iPhone:

  • Enable the Bluetooth function on your phone. Your device will automatically scan for available Bluetooth devices near you.
  • Once the name of your speaker—Soundcore 3, for instance—shows up on the list, tap on it.
  • The flashing Bluetooth indicator on your speaker will turn steady, indicating that the pairing process is complete.

To pair your Soundcore speakers with a Windows 10 laptop:

  • Simultaneously press Windows+I to open Windows Settings.
  • Click on “Devices” and click on the Bluetooth toggle switch once to turn it on.
  • Next, click on the “Add Bluetooth or Other Device” option directly above it and wait while your laptop scans for available Bluetooth-enabled devices nearby.
  • Once your Anker Soundcore speaker shows up on the list, click on it to finish the pairing process.
  • The flashing blue light on your speaker will turn steady, confirming that your speaker is now connected to your laptop.

For a Macbook:

  • Go to “System Preferences”, click on “Bluetooth”, and select the “Turn Bluetooth On” option. Your Macbook will then start scanning for nearby discoverable devices.
  • Select your Anker Soundcore speaker when it shows up on the list, and the pairing will be complete.

You can also connect multiple Anker Soundcore speakers together as long as they all have the PartyCast function.

To do this, connect one of the speakers to your device of choice using the Bluetooth function. This will act as your primary speaker.

Next, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the primary speaker for two seconds till the Bluetooth indicator starts flashing white. This indicates that the speaker has entered PartyCast pairing mode.

From here, switch on the other Soundcore speaker that you wish to connect, press and hold the Bluetooth button for two seconds, and, once it starts flashing white, press the button twice to make it a secondary speaker in PartyCast pairing. The secondary speaker will automatically connect with the primary speaker.

Pairing Anker Soundcore Headphones

With your Anker Soundcore over-ear headphones, you can choose to either use the AUX cable that comes with the package or go wireless.

For a clean wireless audio experience, these headphones use the latest Bluetooth 5 technology to connect with your device of choice.

  • To pair your Anker Soundcore Life Q20/Q20+/Q30/Q35 headphones, start by putting them on pairing mode.
  • Switch off your headphones by pressing and holding the power button on the left earpiece for 3 seconds.
  • Once switched off, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds till the status indicator flashes blue to turn on pairing mode.
  • To complete the pairing process, go to the device settings of your chosen mobile device, enable the Bluetooth function, and select your headphones from the list of available devices.

If you wish to pair your Anker Soundcore headphones to a Windows 10 laptop, use the Windows+I hotkey to open up Windows Settings. Select “Devices” and click on the Bluetooth toggle switch to enable the Bluetooth function. Then, click on “Add Bluetooth or Other Device” and choose your Soundcore headphones from the list that shows up.

For pairing with a Macbook, find the “System Preferences” option, select “Bluetooth”, and click on “Turn Bluetooth On”. Once a list of nearby Bluetooth-enabled devices shows up, choose your Anker Soundcore headphones from the list.

To indicate that a connection has been successfully established between your Anker Soundcore headphones and your device of choice, the status indicator will go steady for 2 seconds and then turn off.

You can also pair your Soundcore headphones with two different devices simultaneously without having to repeatedly switch the connection. To achieve this, first pair them with one device following the process mentioned above. Then, press the power button twice in quick succession to pair them with the second device.

Each time they are switched on, your Soundcore headphones will automatically get paired with the device with which they were last connected. To pair with a new device, simply disable the Bluetooth function on the device with which they are connected and pair them with the new device following the above process.
